The XSG series rotary flash dryer is a new type of drying equipment successfully developed by our factory on the basis of introducing and absorbing advanced technologies. It can complete drying, crushing, and screening at one time within a single piece of equipment, eliminating environmental pollution, and the overall performance of the whole machine reaches an advanced technical level.
Principle:
The hot air enters the stirring, crushing, and drying chamber from the bottom of the dryer through the inlet pipe at an appropriate spouting speed. It exerts a strong shearing, blowing, and floating, and rotating effect on the materials. As a result, the materials are atomized due to centrifugal force, shearing force, collision, and friction, strengthening the mass and heat transfer. At the bottom of the dryer, the larger and wetter particle agglomerates are mechanically crushed by the agitator. The particles with lower moisture content and smaller particle size are entrained and lifted by the rotating airflow and are further dried during the rising process. Since the gas-solid two phases flow in a rotating manner, the inertia of the solid phase is greater than that of the gas phase, and the relative velocity between the solid and gas phases is relatively large, which enhances the mass and heat transfer between the two phases. Therefore, this machine has a high production intensity.
Product Features
There are multiple feeding devices for selection. The feeding is continuous and stable, and there will be no bridging phenomenon during the process.
A special cooling device is installed at the bottom of the dryer to prevent the materials from deteriorating in the high-temperature area at the bottom.
The special air pressure sealing device and bearing cooling device effectively extend the service life of the transmission part.
The special air distribution device reduces the resistance of the equipment and effectively increases the processing air volume of the dryer.
The drying chamber is equipped with a classification ring and swirling vanes, and the fineness and final moisture content of the materials can be adjusted. (For example, the final moisture content of calcium carbonate can be adjusted to ≤ 0.1%)
Compared with other drying methods, it can effectively increase the specific gravity of the materials.
The circumferential air velocity in the drying chamber is high, and the residence time of the materials is short, effectively preventing the materials from sticking to the wall and the heat-sensitive materials from deteriorating, achieving high efficiency, rapidness, and large production with a small-sized equipment.
Applicable Materials
Inorganic substances: Boric acid, calcium carbonate, hydroxides, copper sulfate, iron oxide, barium carbonate, antimony trioxide, various metal hydroxides, various heavy metal salts, synthetic cryolite, etc.
Organic substances: Atrazine (pesticide insecticide), cadmium laurate, benzoic acid, benzoin acid, folpet, sodium oxalate, cellulose acetate, etc.
Ceramics: Kaolin, silicon dioxide, clay.
Dyes: Anthraquinone, black iron oxide, indigo pigment, butyric acid, titanium hydroxide, zinc sulfide, various azo dye intermediates.
Food products: Soybean protein, gelled starch, distiller's grains, wheat sugar, wheat starch.
